General

Ortega's Striped Suite C/E is an electro-acoustic classical guitar with a modern design. It has a cutaway that makes it easier to access the higher frets and a built-in armrest for extra playing comfort. The neck with Spanish heel is comfortable to play too and the slightly narrower string nut width of 1.89 inches is another comfort-enhancing feature. Unlike most classical guitars, this model also has a truss rod which means you can adjust the neck.

Striped Suite C/E: wood types

This classical guitar combines various wood types which all contribute to its sound. The solid Alaskan spruce top's brightness is projected beautifully by the striped ebony back and sides. The neck is made of mahogany and the fretboard and bridge are both made of rosewood which adds a touch of warmth to the overall sound. Incidentally, the bridge is Ortega's own design and has 12 holes instead of 6 which makes it easier to change strings. The armrest is made of acacia which is a type koa.

MagusPro

The Striped Suite C/E is equipped with the Ortega MagusPro-NL preamplifier that was specially designed for instruments with nylon strings. It has a 3-band EQ as well as a volume control, a phase switch and a built-in tuner. An Ortega ONB-44 deluxe gig bag is included with this instrument as is a leather guitar strap. De gitaar werd snel en goed verpakt verstuurd. Bij ontvangst snel uitgepakt natuurlijk. De Ortega gitaar ziet er perfect uit geen beschadigingen waar te nemen. De bespeelbaarheid is prima; comfortabele hals. Het geluid met fingerpicking mooi vol en rond en zeer geprononceerd door de sparren top. Ik ben er heel blij mee!
