Product information

General

The premium Cort GOLD DC6 is the cutaway version of the popular GOLD D6, featuring the same qualities that make the Gold series so popular. The cutaway in the body gives you access to the higher positions on the fretboard, ideal if you regularly play solos or work in the higher registers. The top is made from solid Sitka spruce (master-grade quality) and has been heat-treated using the ‘Aged To Vintage’ method. This treatment gives the guitar an instantly richer and warmer tone, as if it were already well-played in. The back and sides of the GOLD DC6 are made from solid mahogany, adding warm and mid-range tones, ensuring chords sound full without the bass becoming overpowering.

Playing comfort and finish

The mahogany neck is reinforced with walnut and features a rounded fingerboard made of Makassar ebony, with abalone position markers. Playing feels familiar and the neck sits comfortably in the hand. The bridge and bridge pins are also made of Makassar ebony, ensuring a tight, resonant tone transfer to the top. Thanks to the built-in Fishman Flex Blend system, this guitar is also suitable for use on stage or in the studio; you can plug it straight into an amplifier or PA system. With extensive tone controls, you can fine-tune your sound exactly to your liking, and tuning is a breeze with the built-in tuner. With the included deluxe soft case, you can hit the road with your Cort GOLD DC6 straight away!
