Guild present the Westerly Series D-120CE Natural: a high-quality dreadnought model with a single cutaway available at a terrifically fair price. Its high-gloss finished mahogany neck is glued to an all-mahogany body and has a comfortable C-profile. This, combined with a flat rosewood fretboard, results in a warm, acoustic sound with a gracious tail of sustain.

The Guild D-120CE: Sonitone & Sonicore

The active Sonitone Soundhole Pickup system mounted on the D-120CE provides you with the possibility to amplify its acoustic sound with ease. Together with the fitted Sonicore pickup, the Fishman preamp shapes a bright, clearly-defined electric sound, giving this guitar not only the level of versatility needed to join any band on stage but ample playability to deliver supple lead and rhythm parts.

The Guild Westerly Collection

Guild have been building high-quality instruments since 1953 and their acoustic guitars hark back to earlier, vintage models. Ben sinds een 5-tal jaren de gelukkige eigenaar van deze D-120CE Westerlo cutaway. Qua look ben je pro (zoals ikzelf) of mss contra als je niet graag mahonie ziet 🤪, want dat is deze gitaar voor bijna 100% !
Wat speelplezier en vooral speelgemak (als boter…) en klank betreft is dit instrument fantastisch, een absolute aanrader qua prijs/kwaliteit verhouding!
