The JSA5 Vintage Burst has a top made of Engelmann spruce which gives this guitar its rich and firm sound. The neck, sides and back are made of mahogany and this wood type is known for its sufficient trebles and mids and a deep, bright sound. This is ideal if you want a full and warmer sound. The neck of the JSA5-VB is also made of mahogany, has 20 frets and is attached to the body at the 14th fret. The fretboard, made of ash wood, is fitted with abalone inlays and the head of this electro-acoustic guitar features a Joe Satriani signature.

The JSA5-VB is equipped with a Fishman Sonicore pickup with a Presys preamplifier. This compact and advanced Presys system gives you control over the volume and equalizing (bass, mid, treble). Thanks to the unique design of this Fishman preamp, you can quickly switch batteries.
