This is an advanced wood processing technology, whereby the temperature, moisture and air pressure are all adjusted to change the molecular makeup of the wood for optimal acoustic sound. Basically, it gives the wood the kind of sound you'll hear in vintage instruments that have been allowed to settle for years - only you get it right out of the box with the LS16M ARE. Furthermore, a newly designed interior bracing adds extra depth to the lows, without drowning out the articulation of the highs.

Another new design can be found in the 5-part mahogany/rosewood neck, whereby the parts are placed with mirrored wood grain in order to prevent bending and warping. Moreover, the design integrates the headstock, neck and body into one seamless whole, all to the benefit of the overall sound. The tuners on this Yamaha guitar are gold-plated (model TM-29G) for that extra classy look, and you can take your new guitar everywhere with the included case.
