The ME 4 Carbon is also supported by advanced audio algorithms and an exclusive bank of effects, all thanks to that smart chip, making it possible to play without the need for any external effects, since they come built in. Scroll through and select effects via the Effects app, which is powered by the SHARC chip plus FreeBoost 3.0 technology, and even experiment with acoustic and electric guitar sounds. Even if you want to quickly lay down an idea, you don't even need a computer and audio interface, simply record ideas and play them back directly from the guitar.

Discover fresh riffs and phrases using the Create App, where you can improvise solos or play along with hundreds of backing tracks. In Loops, an expansive array of grooves is supplied to help you build your ideas, and then, you can record them in Improvs or share them via Respond Improvs. With the Learn App, you can pick up new techniques, chord progressions and licks from any genre, each accompanied by demo videos or real-time tablature that you can read on the side-mounted display screen of the ME 4 or on your own phone.
