Finished to deluxe standards, the Gretsch Rancher Falcon Jumbo electro-acoustic comes adorned with striking detailing, including a Gold Sparkle heel cap; truss rod cover; headstock and body binding, and a gold Gretsch pickguard complete with logo and falcon graphic. Meanwhile, the extra-broad body, neck and the unique Falcon V-shaped headstock have been dipped in pure white, and in true Rancher style, the soundhole has that unmistakable triangular shape.

Once plugged in, the sound can be tweaked as needed using the two-band tone controls, and any feedback can be countered using the phase button, which also doubles as a bass boost at lower volumes. To finish, a chromatic tuner comes built in for maximum convenience.

De actie van de gitaar was iets te hoog voor mij dus had ik het snel aangepast naar mijn voorkeur.
Ik had ook het gevoel dat de topkam wat meer afwerking mocht krijgen,
dus overweeg ik om het wat bij te vijlen zodat de snaren er meer ideaal op 'liggen'.
Voor de rest: De gitaar speelt vlot, klinkt super zowel akoestisch als via een versterker.
Ook rechtstreeks in een interface is deze gitaar ideaal om op te nemen.
Vooral de nek spreekt me aan, wat een fantastische nek!
