General

With Pro Series, Takamine have designed an incredibly resonant range of acoustic guitars. The P3DC Sunburst All Satin is an electro-acoustic full-size dreadnought, endowed with a soft cutaway and a full mid-range, layered with rich, harmonic overtones shaped by the solid top and back.

Takamine P3DC: Sound and Finish

The cedar top offers a soft attack with a touch of compression while the mahogany sapele back and sides bring a light, clear and warm overall tone. As you would expect from this Takamine Dreadnought, you get a steel-string guitar with a beautiful matte satin sunburst finish of stunning quality with subtle and elegant details such as the wood-coloured position rings and discreet bindings.

Acoustic and Amplified

The nut and split string saddle are both made of bone and contribute to the sublime acoustic sound of the Takamine P3DC. This is then amplified by a contact piezo and acclaimed CT4B II preamp, with built-in tuner and, using the volume controls and three-band equalizer, you get complete control over your amplified sound. This Takamine guitar also comes with a hardshell case.
