General
The Tilt n Bands from IGS Audio is a fully analogue stereo equaliser that, because it runs on tubes, has a nice sound. It has three bands whose centre frequency, by means of rocker switches, can be adjusted. The bass band can be switched between 50, 100 and 250 Hz, the mid-band between 500 Hz, 1 kHz and 2.5 kHz and the treble band 5, 10 and 12.5 kHz. This makes it possible to use the equaliser on different sound sources. When tweaking a vocal, for example, you won't need a band at 50 Hz as quickly, where it is essential on a bass or drum.
Quick and clear controls ensure an efficient workflow
Those controls are simple and clear: the left and right channels are controlled by the same buttons. The three bands have a mid-frequency switch and a rotary knob that determines the desired amount of EQ. A nice extra feature on the Tilt n Bands is the Tilt button. This allows you to tilt the entire frequency balance up or down. This gives you a brighter or warmer sound in no time. This tube equaliser from IGS Audio does well in mastering but also on single tracks or instruments and has everything you need for a vintage sound.
