The Motu 16A is a highly versatile Thunderbolt and USB audio interface. With its sixteen 6.3mm jack inputs and sixteen 6.3mm jack outputs, you can use it as an extra-extensive in/out interface for your computer, but you can just as easily use it as a versatile patch bay and mixer. The latter might surprise you, but a powerful DSP chip allows you to easily operate an internal mixer with high-quality modelled effects with your laptop, tablet or smartphone. Inputs and outputs can be set to the right direction via a matrix.

The Motu 16A: A Complete Studio 

Whether you want to take it easy with multi-tracking, or want to effortlessly start an extensive recording session - the 16A will be right with you. You can use a USB as well as a Thunderbolt connection. The latter accepts a total of 128 input and output channels. If all the inputs and outputs of the 16A are taken (including the optical ADAT channels), you can connect a second interface (the 8M or 1248) to the Ethernet connector, or even three to five interfaces via the separately available Motu AVB Switch.

Het Duurde even voor ik de Motu16a (gekregen van mijn moeder) aan de praat kreeg! maar vandaag is het me gelukt! Ik kan eigenlijk bijna alleen maar positieve dingen zeggen over deze motu! Wat een mogelijkheden allemaal, steengoede software om de motu te besturen en te configureren! En het geluid wat goed! enige minpuntje vond ik de handleiding onbegrijpelijk en te ingewikkeld! Ik ben heel tevreden!
