General

The Digiface Audio Video Bridge interface by RME offers you a look into the future in terms of audio network technology. The open AVB protocol is able to send 256 audio channels between your PC and audio networks. Apple computers offer standard AVB support with the addition of a gigabit network port and for Windows systems, there's a USB3 port for streaming up to 128 audio channels with a sample rate of 192 kHz to the AVB network and then another 128 channels back! You can determine how many channels you want to stream simultaneously in steps of 2 to 32 channels. This way, you can enjoy maximum compatibility with all existing AVB interfaces on the market today. To top it all off, this Digiface AVB comes complete with the powerful, highly-acclaimed DSP-based TotalMix routing software.
