Tascam UH-7000 microphone preamp and USB audio interface

General

The Tascam UH-700 is a microphone preamp and USB audio interface for use in home studios and projects on location. The high-end interface can also be used as an A/D converter in combination with your favourite DAW. It is equipped with balanced XLR inputs and unbalanced 6.35mm jack inputs. Two XLR outputs can be found on the rear panel, and the UH-7000 also features a digital AES/EBU input and output. The rugged construction with aluminium panels ensures that the interface can take a hit on the road.

High-end audio

Featuring a sampling rate of up to 192 kHz at a 24-bit resolution, the UH-7000 offers high-end audio. The interface is equipped with a separate power supply for each channel, which means that there is no chance of interference between channels, guaranteeing high-quality sound. The UH-7000 features a built-in DSP mixer with effects - with a button on the front panel you can access the mixer panel on your computer screen, where you can make further adjustments to your settings. There is a choice of two mixer modes: Multi-track and Stereo Mix. The multi-track mode is great for making recordings with your DAW, as it enables you to make a monitor mix that is not dependent on the actual recording levels. The Stereo Mix mode is particularly useful for Internet broadcasting and video editing, and allows you to make a stereo mix of two different sound sources plus a stereo return signal from your computer.
