General
Focusrite's Red 16Line is a Pro Tools HD-ready (HDX) audio interface with ultra-fast Thunderbolt 3 capability. This means seamless integration with Pro Tools HD and zero latency, even when using multiple channels at once. It also supports Dante, offering you 32 audio channels for sending and receiving data over the IP network with extremely low latency and higher sample rates than ever. What's more, you'll find 16 D-sub analogue connections and inputs and outputs for ADAT and S/PDIF. In short, with the Red16 Line audio interface, the future is now!
Red Evolution Preamps & Tried-and-Trusted Focusrite Control
The highly-acclaimed Red Evolution preamp has been incorporated into this Red 16 for an honest, clean signal without the audio source being affected or coloured in any way. What's more, the preamps can be linked in a stereo configuration and feature a separate high-pass filter, phase inverter, and the Air mode, which emulates the analogue sound of the renowned ISA preamps. The AD/DA conversions leave nothing to be desired; they offer incredible dynamic range and stereo imaging. The intuitive monitor and routing software allow you to route each individual channel to the destination of your choice and experience complete freedom of controlling the preamps from a distance. The Red 16Line comes with Red 2 and Red 3 EQ and compressor plugins.
