General

The ASM Neve 88M USB brings the sound of world famous recording studios such as AIR, Abbey Road and Capitol Sound to your studio. Sporting a classic Neve look, this compact, USB-powered audio interface comes decked out with the Marinair transformer found in the 88R console and features a vintage-style lay-out of buttons and LEDs. Both microphone/line/DI inputs are backed up by the Marinair transformer for maximum preamp support and, if two inputs and outputs don't cut it for you, don't worry: the 88M USB can be expanded with eight additional inputs/outputs via ADAT/Toslink for a total of ten inputs and outputs.

Balanced Insert Loop for Outboard Gear and Latency-Free Monitoring

Both preamp channels have been outfitted with a balanced send-and-return loop, allowing you to add external processors to your signal chain as needed. Every insert is active at all times to guarantee easy signal split-ups, making sure every preamp is sent a fully analogue signal before the audio makes it to the A/D converter. Just like the two-ton-weighing 88RS, the 88M is built like a tank. It can be used anywhere in the world to gain access to world-class AD/DA conversion, and both mono and stereo signals can be monitored without any latency thanks to the built-in monitoring support. Last but not least, it's worth mentioning that the 88M is bus-powered - hook it up using the included USB 3.0 cable and you're good to go and record the next smash hit.

Tout est parfait...La qualité sonore est vraiment au rendez-vous.
La finition est de très bonne facture. L'installation est on ne peut plus simple. Un pilote à télécharger et ça fonctionne. Les réglages sont par la suite tout aussi simples. Bref,aucun regret malgré le coût de l'investissement. On en a pour son argent.
