The Motu 848 is a 28 x 32 Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 audio interface of stature! This is truly high-end, and fit for the most demanding studios. Sublime audio quality, lightning-fast data transfer, and a lot of channels at your disposal. Now by now we are swimming in audio interfaces. Many are more or less similar and aimed at consumers and experienced consumers. This Motu 848 is pre-eminently a beast of an interface for the higher end in studio land. Wordclock in/out, two sets of ADAT in/out, network capabilities to connect multiple 848s or 16As, and a network connector for an AVB network switch. Not exactly capabilities you need in your attic room.

The many outputs allow you to work on a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos mix. The many regular jack and XLR/jack connectors almost come across as old-fashioned and ordinary, even though they still form the basis of all our studios.
