General

The iConnectivity PlayAUDIO2U is an all-in-one audio and MIDI interface designed specifically for live performance with a computer-based setup. You can connect two performance computers via the two USB-C ports, and the interface keeps your show running smoothly with lightning-fast switching whenever needed. On the audio side, you get four XLR/TRS combo inputs with high-quality, ultra-low-noise mic preamps and 48V phantom power, plus no fewer than 24 balanced XLR line outputs for your FOH, monitors, in-ears and more.

Redundancy and protection for the stage

PlayAUDIO2U is designed to stay one step ahead of problems. The interface monitors your setup and can switch between the two connected computers automatically or manually. It also features Audio Protection: in the event of suspicious audio streams or potential glitches, the system can mute outputs and switch to Safe Mode, ensuring no unwanted pops or digital noise reach your PA. The large OLED display shows you audio measurements, MIDI activity and system status at a glance, including warnings in the event of computer issues.

MIDI command centre with venue-wide coverage

In terms of MIDI, too, this is a real hub in your rig. You have 2x MIDI in and 2x MIDI out via 5-pin DIN, four USB-MIDI host ports for class-compliant controllers/modules, and two Ethernet connections for RTP-MIDI networking (long distances, smooth and reliable). With the four assignable buttons on the front panel and two sockets for 2-button footswitches, you can control MIDI functions and commands directly from the interface. Using the Auracle software (download), you can fine-tune routing, mixing and MIDI processing precisely to suit your show.
