This sturdy skip lock by Penn Elcom is made of 0.9-millimetre-thick steel and has a 28-millimetre lip. When building your flight case yourself, mounting this lock is already a piece of cake; thanks to the pre-drilled mounting holes with a diameter of 5 millimetres, fastening is a snap. By the way, a suitable top plate for this skip lock is the Penn Elcom L0747/CP.
