Fender Paramount PM-3 Standard Triple O Natural electro-acoustic guitar

Fender fans will love the start of 2016 with the launch of this new line of electro-acoustic guitars. This PM-3 Standard Triple O model with a natural finish is the least expensive of the guitars in the new Paramount series, but it certainly doesn't sound cheap. These guitars have all been designed by the former acoustic Custom Shop, but are manufactured in China to keep production costs as low as possible. What you end up with is an authentic design with a great sound at an affordable price! To top it all off, a special Fishman Paramount preamp has been custom-built and adjusted to this particular model for a superior sound.

Paramount PM-3 Standard Triple O Natural

The PM-3 Standard Triple O is crafted from gorgeous wood types: the sides and back are made of mahogany while the top is solid sitka spruce. The entire guitar has a solid construction, in fact, for a full, warm sound. You can see the most authentic details on the top, which seem to have come straight from the 1960s: a Checkerboard binding and rosette and a Kingman-style pickguard, for starters. A rosewood bridge with bone saddle is reminiscent of the '70s, as is the small head stock. As a finishing touch, Fender adorned each guitar with their vintage logo from the late '40's.

Rich tones

A guitar with so many familiar elements from the past must sound good! The rosewood fretboard set on a comfortable, C-shaped mahogany neck plays a large part in the sound, and you'll always know where you are with the mother-of-pearl position markers. To maintain that warm sound, Fishman integrated a special preamp that ensures this guitar's sound is reproduced as authentically as possible. Its controls are located in the shoulder in a minimalistic design that is accessible but doesn't overpower the overall design.
