ENGL Z-4 Footswitch

General

ENGL amplifiers usually have several functions that you can use via knobs on the front panel. When playing live, however, it is more practical to operate them with your feet, which is why ENGL developed the Z-4 double foot switch. It allows you to turn two special functions on your amplifier on or off. You can switch, for instance, between Clean and Lead, Lo and Hi gain, Master A/B, or activate the FX loop. You can now do so with both hands on your guitar thanks to ENGL's Z-4 foot switch!

Properties of the ENGL Z-4 foot switch

ENGL is known for its virtually indestructible pedals. This double foot switch is also very rugged and has a sturdy stainless steel housing and two durable buttons. A red and a green LED tell you whether a function is on or off. You can connect the ENGL Z-4 to your amplifier via a standard 1/4-inch stereo jack cable (included). The cable isn't attached to the pedal, so you can easily replace it if it malfunctions or breaks.

Suitable for virtually all ENGL amplifiers

The Z-4 is specially designed for ENGL amplifiers with a 6.35mm foot switch input. It is suitable for the E625 Fireball 60, E650 Ritchie Blackmore Signature, E320 Thunder 50 Reverb, E322 Thunder 50 Driven, E325 Thunder head, the Classic series and Gigmaster series guitar amplifiers, as well as the E840/50 and E850/100 amps and E570 and E530 preamps. Is there a switch function on your ENGL? Then you can almost certainly operate it with the Z-4.

• Please note: you can also use this foot switch for non-ENGL amplifiers. In that case, the LEDs might not work though.
