General
Blackstar developed this multi-purpose foot switch specially for live applications. It allows you to control the functions and patches of your revolutionary ID:Series guitar amplifier. This rugged metal 4-button foot switch allows you to do so in three different ways. Depending on how you prefer to work on stage, you can choose between Patch, Effects and Navigation mode.
Blackstar FS-10: three different modes
Patch mode lets you switch between the three banks of the four patches, just like you would with the knobs on the front of your amplifier. Additionally, there's a Tuner function to tune your guitar and change the mode.
The Effects mode allows you to turn three individual effects of a patch on or off. It'll also let you adjust the speed of the effects by tapping the Tap (tempo) button to the beat; this is something you can do for both the delay and modulation effects.
In Navigation mode, you have access to all 128 patches stored in your amplifier. You can scroll through individual patches or entire banks. This mode also lets you store patches, which is perfect for some last-minute sound adjustments on stage.

Zeer snelle verzending via Bax. Compleet pedaal met lange kabel. Maar liefst 128 mogelijkheden om instellingen op te slaan. Na 10 minuten begreep ik hoe ik het moest opslaan, zonder handleiding. Wel via filmpjes op You Tube. Blackstar blijft me verbazen, ook voor Jazz. Ik gebruik een Blackstar TD30 TVP, echt een mooi geluid.
Blackstar gitaarversterkers komen uit Engeland (Northampton, UK).
Het merk werd in 2007 opgericht door een groep voormalige ingenieurs van Marshall Amplification:
Bruce Keir (hoofdontwerper, later CTO)
Ian Robinson (CEO)
Paul Hayhoe (marketing)
Richard Frost (R&D/elektronica)
Ze hadden jarenlang bij Marshall gewerkt maar wilden hun eigen visie op versterkers ontwikkelen, met meer flexibiliteit en moderne features. Zo ontstond Blackstar, bekend om innovaties zoals de ISF (Infinite Shape Feature)-knop, waarmee je het klankkarakter tussen typisch "Brits" en "Amerikaans" kunt laten variëren.
👉 Kortom: Blackstar is een Brits merk, bedacht door ex-Marshall ingenieurs die een nieuwe generatie versterkers wilden bouwen.

Robuuste voetschakelaar. Eenvoudig te bedienen. Wel eerst thuis de juiste geluiden en banken instellen alvorens het podium op te gaan.
Maar zelfs tijdens het spelen is eenvoudig om je ter plekke gemaakte instellingen te bewaren met een simpele druk op de knop.
Ook fijn...je kan de meegeleverde kabel vervangen door een (langere) gitaarkabel.

Een zeer goede en stevige schakelaar. De knoppen werken goed en het is gemakkelijk te bedienen. Er zitten redelijk veel functies op, die allemaal makkelijk te gebruiken zijn. Het display is duidelijk en er zit een goede handleiding bij. Hij kan gewoon aangesloten worden via een normale gitaar kabel, dus zelfs als de kabel kapot gaat, is het makkelijk te vervangen.

Mooie stevige voetpedaal voor de blackstar versterker. De bediening wijst vanzelf... Staat bij elke knop ook goed uitgelegd.
Van alle voetpedalen die ik heb gezien bij andere merken (zoals marshall) vind ik dit de meest intuitieve qua bedieningsgemak en ook de meeste mogelijkheden. Je hebt geen andere losse pedalen meer nodig!

Très bien adapté aux amplis ID de Blackstar.
Cependant, un peu imposant, encombrant.
Malgré sa taille, il manque une facilité pour passer du mode "Choix du canal" à "Activation/Désactivation des effets": appuyer 2 sec sur un bouton est long en live (surtout qu'après il faut le faire à nouveau 2* pour passer au-dessus du mode navigation pour retourner au choix de canal).
