General
The five-button XSonic Airstep YT Edition Wireless Footswitch grants in-depth and cable-free control over Yamaha THR-II Desktop Series guitar amplifiers including the THR10II, THR10IIW, THR30IIW and THR30IIA. Toggle the built-in compression, echo and reverb effects and use one of three control modes - all without needing to link the footwsitch to the THR Remote app. The firmware of the Airstep YT is easily updated to match the latest THR-II models and since a wireless antenna comes included as standard, you're set up with up to thirty metres of wireless range.

De airstap YT is gemaakt om te werken met de Yamaha THR serie. Dat gaat dan ook prima. Ik gebruik de YT voor mijn THR 30ii acoustic. De airstap YT zoekt automatisch verbinding met de THR. Dat gaat vlotjes, maar niet als de THR nog in verbinding staat met de bijbehorende THR app.
Via die app kun je bijvoorbeeld ook een compressor toevoegen, want op de versterker kan dat niet. Via de airstap YT kun je dan in mode 2 of 3 de compressor aan of uit zetten. Dat kan ook met reverb, chorus en delay.
Deze voetpedaal is een geweldig hulpstuk om nog veel meer uit de THR te halen.
Eenmaal opgeladen zou de YT tot 300 uur kunnen gaan leveren. Dat ga ik niet persoonlijk controleren, maar in de eerste week heb ik er ongeveer een uurtje of 40 mee doorgebracht en dat was geen enkel probleem.
