Het pedaal is goed gebouwd, en biedt prima mogelijkheden. Het heeft echter een paar belangrijke problemen die maken dat het voor mij toch niet een heel groot succes is:
- Onwerkbare Bluetoothverbinding met IPad (werkt wel op Android).
De Bluetooth verbinding met mijn IPad is heel instabiel. Daardoor is het niet mogelijk om het pedaal met mijn IPad te gebruiken. Dat betekent dus ook dat ik de instellingen niet kan veranderen met mijn (want dat kan niet via USB, maar moet via Bluetooth). Gelukkig werkt de Bluetoothverbinding wel goed met mijn Android toestel en kan ik daar de XSONIC wel mee instellen.
- De XSONIC AIrstep Multi kan maar een beperkte hoeveelheid midi-informatie aan.
Als de XSONIC een beetje te veel midi tegelijk moet afhandelen, dan gaat er midi informatie verloren. Gevolg: noten die blijven hangen op de aangesloten synthesizers. Enorm iritant.
