XSonic Airstep GP Edition wireless foot switch for Valeton GP

The XSonic AIRSTEP GP Edition is a specialised wireless footswitch for the Valeton GP-5, GP-50, GP-150 and GP-180, as well as the Sonicake Pocket Master and Smart Box. Unlike a traditional MIDI controller, this foot controller has been developed specifically for these devices. You therefore do not need any MIDI knowledge, nor do you need to manually assign functions or programme complicated settings. Simply switch on the AIRSTEP GP and you’re ready to go. With five footswitches, you can access presets, effects, banks and various additional functions right from the floor.

Full control from the floor

In Preset Mode, you can organise 100 presets across 25 banks and easily switch between presets A, B, C and D. In Effect Mode, you can control the PRE, DST, MOD, DLY and RVB effects. Tap Tempo and switching between PRE, DST and MOD effect types are also accessible via your feet. In addition, Scene Mode allows you to recall custom combinations of enabled and disabled effects within the same preset. The LEDs provide real-time feedback on effects, presets, banks, scenes and tempo, amongst other things.

Wireless and ready for the road

Thanks to the wireless connection, the AIRSTEP GP Edition, together with your Valeton or Sonicake multi-effects unit, forms a compact and portable system. The built-in rechargeable battery offers up to 300 hours of use. For the Valeton GP-5, the controller also features a USB-C power output, allowing this unit to be used on the go for up to four hours. Two inputs for expression pedals offer additional control over, for example, volume, gain, wah, pitch, EQ and various effect parameters. The robust aluminium housing makes this footswitch suitable for practising, recording and live use.
