General
SCOOCH from Old Blood Noise Endeavors is an external tap tempo footswitch designed specifically for use with the incredibly potent Expression Ramper X3, Whitecap and Blackcap effects pedals. Simply connect it to the effect pedal's tap in connector with a 6.3-millimetre TS cable, then start tapping your foot right on the switch at the desired tempo and let the effect do the rest right away. SCOOCH can also be used with a wide range of other matching stompboxes for tap tempo, remote switching or other similar purposes. This though with the caveat that the pedal does expect a momentary normal open footswitch signal via a mono jack cable with the tip to sleeve connected during pressing. This OBNE switch comes in an incredibly compact and sturdy pedal and needs no power supply at all due to its passive operation.
