Not just another reverb pedal, the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Dark Star Stereo stompbox comes rammed with functions, all designed for getting lost in a sea of ambience. This is the new stereo edition, and gives you way more than just a V2. The built-in functions include pitch-shifting, bit-crushing and reverb filtering, while the range of connection ports support integration into any rig. Next to the stereo inputs and outputs, this pedal features a bank for storing presets and even supports MIDI control. The much-loved lo-fi reverb algorithm from the original Dark Star is present, and here, comes backed up improved signal quality and further expanded control options.

The Old Blood Noise Endeavors Dark Star Stereo: From the Subtle to the Dramatic

By harnessing the two-way pitch-shifting for the left and right stereo channels, which even gives you access to dual octave shifts, this Old Blood Noise Endeavors conception can create everything from subtle atmospherics to dramatic soundscapes. The filter controls can be tweaked to process the signal via a high-pass or low-pass filter to darken or lighten the output as preferred. And then there's the built-in crush distortion, which can be varied from a soft clipping to an intense lo-fi distortion, adding some mouthwatering character to the effect. Further innovative functions include Multiply and Spread, which hand guitarists advanced control over the feedback and stereo width, deepening the sonic dimensions. The programmable AUX footswitch can even be toggled to activate infinite sustain or quick pitch shifts for made-to-measure dynamic control and, thanks to the MIDI compatibility, the creative scope is blown wide open by programmable presets and adjustable parameters.
