While bucket-brigade technology has formed the core of analogue delay for over half a century, with the DM-101 Analogue Delay Machine, Boss pull things up to 21st century spec via accurate digital CPU control. This expansive delay pedal is home to eight built-in 2,048-stage bucket-brigade devices that offer twelve delay modes that can be blended and combined to mix up an immense spectrum of atmospheric delay - in mono or stereo. As if that wasn't enough, 127 memory slots are supplied via MIDI program change so you can save all you're favourite settings and call them up later.

Browse every flavour of delay under the sun, from the classic and vintage to the more clear and modern, from modulated delay to an emulated multi-head tape delay. The central selection pot scrolls through the twelve modes, supporting contemporary user-friendliness, while inside, the CPU ensures that your selected BBDs are correctly linked to match the right mono or stereo delay sound.

A Firm Grip on Analogue Bucket Brigade Delay

The mind-boggling array of possible effects that the DM-101 has on offer come wrapped in a tight metal box and loaded with a clear control panel. Besides the effect volume, the delay time and intensity can be set as well as the modulation depth and speed. The Manual section over on the left, meanwhile, provides four save slots, so you can store four of your favourite analogue delay settings and call them up later. Set the delay speed via the Tap Tempo switch and toggle the rhythm of your delay via the Tap Division switch over on the right. And to expand the setup, link two extra footswitches or an expression pedal or, to really get the most out of the Machine, take advantage of the MIDI input and output.
