The Sela Chau Gong 28" Sun is a handcrafted traditional gong from China, much loved by musicians and therapists alike. Made from a special bronze alloy, this gong has a diameter of no less than 70 cm and features a distinctive Sun design. The combination of a matt, untreated base with polished concentric rings creates a visually and acoustically fascinating effect. The rich overtones, deep fundamental tone and long-lasting vibrations make this instrument ideal for meditative, therapeutic and musical uses. Thanks to the subtle contrast between the matt and polished surfaces, you can enjoy both an earthy timbre and extra clarity and projection. Supplied with a velvet-covered mallet and a sturdy black carrying case.
