The Sela Percussion 28-inch Chau Gong Dark Moon is traditionally handmade in China from a special bronze alloy. You can recognise this so-called "Chau" gong by its distinctive backward edge and raw playing surface. The rough texture contributes to the natural, earthy sound and gives each gong its own sound character. In orchestral music, sound therapy or meditative environments, the resonance comes into its own. The wide, palpable vibrations fill the room with a full sound that invites tranquillity and is suitable for meditative and spiritual effects.
