General
This 32-inch Sela Chau Gong Dark Moon is carefully handmade in China from a specially formulated bronze alloy. The so-called "Chau" shape, where the edge curves back slightly, gives the instrument a traditional look. The rough surface creates a layered, natural sound with plenty of warmth and depth, a unique texture and resonance. The manual finish gives each gong a subtle individual character. Suitable for musical, therapeutic and meditative environments. Due to the naturally large size of gongs, the sounds are space-filling and the vibrations can be felt in the body for meditative and spiritual effects.
