The Peavey 6505 MKII offers two channels with separate EQ, resonance and presence controls for each channel. So total control and plenty of flexibility when using this amp top. Using the footswitch, you can control the channel selection and effects loop and also select the new Crunch function. In your Rhythm Channel, you can now effortlessly gain extra gain by moving your foot, so you never have to let go of your guitar. The Clean Channel has been redesigned to sound much brighter and received one 12AX7 specifically for Clean/Crunch. You see, with this head you can count on a versatile sound.

Authentic tube sound

Peavey's 6505 MKII is a full tube amp with six 12AX7 preamp tubes and four 6L6GC power amp tubes. Thanks to its 120-watt output, this head can deliver a lot of volume, making it suitable for bigger gigs. An effects loop is provided so you can edit your sound to your heart's content by placing effects pedals before or after the amp. You can choose the impedance of the speaker via the switch so you can use a 4, 8 or 16 ohm speaker, and two parallel connections are provided as outputs to external speakers.
