Fans of the famous Tele twang often have a love/hate relationship with vintage Tele bridges. That's because although the brass saddles and bridge plate give you that typical Tele sound, getting good intonation is another matter because the saddles can only be adjusted in pairs, not individually. This means that you can never get perfect intonation on each string. One solution is to install a bridge with six saddles, but this usually means sacrificing some of that renowned Tele twang. A better solution, therefore, is the AllParts' TB-5140-001 Joe Barden Vintage Style Bridge for Telecaster.

Vintage construction with smart upgrades

Part of the magic of the original Telecaster's sound comes from its vintage-style bridge and brass saddles that give it extra bite. This Allparts Joe Barden Vintage Style Telecaster bridge is made according to original specifications, but the bridge plate has been made thicker to prevent any unwanted feedback and the saddles have been compensated so that each string runs through them at the perfect angle for optimal intonation.
