This neck has been hewn from high-grade roasted maple, where the wood has been gently heated to remove excess moisture and improve overall stability and resistance while completing an elegant and dark tinted finish, and everything has been sealed in satin-gloss for a smooth, non-stick feel in the fret-hand.

Designed for the modern bassist, this Jazz Bass neck comes with all of Fender's up-to-date features. So, the 12 inch fretboard radius is far flatter than the standard 9.5 inch radius and supports lighter playability; the set of twenty-two jumbo frets improve your grip on the strings; and the rounded fretboard edges lend this neck an immediately played-in feel.
