This Dunlop White Plastic Fingerpick in medium produces a nice, warm sound. Fingerpicks are typically used in combination with a thumbpick (with fingerpicks being worn around the index and middle fingers) to produce a strong, bright-sounding alternative to picking with just your fingers alone. These types of picks are commonly used for lap steel guitars, dobro guitars, and slide guitar. You'll also find fingerpicks used a lot by banjo players in bluegrass, though you can use them on virtually any string instrument.
