General
The DP 212FCR Eric Johnson Custom Bridge pickup has a lower output and more treble response than a regular vintage humbucker. The result is a pickup with a bright sound that is more like a single-coil than a humbucker. This pickup is enormously stable in the low end, which is an advantage over a single-coil. Especially during leads or solos, this pickup can be very nice, because it retains a lot of definition at all times - even with a lot of distortion. This pickup is F-spaced, making it only suitable for guitars with a Floyd Rose.
