General
The DiMarzio DP 755BK The Tone Zone 7 is not a simple modification of the original 6-string, but has really been redesigned from scratch by DiMarzio. Thus, they wanted to keep the power and sound of the original Tone Zone, but with less 'magnet-pull' to give clarity to the low B-string. That's also why a ceramic magnet was chosen in this bridge pickup, instead of an Alnico magnet.
