Product information

General

The DiMarzio DP101F Dual Sound pickup works best in the bridge position in solid-body guitars, but can also be used in the neck or middle position in some cases. This pickup is the F-spaced variant and only suitable for guitars with Floyd Rose and similar tremolo bridges. Originally, the 4-wire wiring was intended for switching from series to parallel, but is now particularly popular in HH, HSS & H-configurations where, despite being a humbucker, with a split it works very well in single-coil mode in the middle position. This gives that nice typical twangy single-coil sound, despite precisely the warm tonal character and high output of the Dual Sound.
