General

The DiMarzio DP163 Bluesbucker guitar pickup is for the guitarist looking for a P90-style pickup in a standard humbucker format. So you still get that classic blues sound, without having to make adjustments to your guitar. The coil with the adjustable pins is the most active, the coil with the non-adjustable pins is mainly there to suppress any hum. How you install the pickup (upright or upside down) therefore has a big influence on the sound. Closer to the bridge gives a clearer and tighter sound, closer to the neck a warmer sound. When you install two Bluesbuckers on your guitar, you get that distinctive sound you would usually get with 2 single-coil pickups. The special Virtual Vintage and Airbucker techniques provide a nice wide dynamic range, bringing out the nuances of your playing style sublimely.
