General
With the DiMarzio DP167 Soapbar Dog-Ear guitar element, you get a single coil that is practically almost identical to the original soapbar pickups. However, this soapbar features a ceramic magnet, with the result that your sound will remain a whole lot more stable and the same over the years. In terms of sound, the midrange is slightly more powerful than with a typical soapbar-style pickup, and the low end is a whole lot tighter.
