General

The DiMarzio DP213F PAF Joe is an F-spaced neck pickup, which is therefore only suitable for guitars with a Floyd Rose or similar tremolo bridge. This element was developed in collaboration with Joe Satriani and was also extensively tested during a G3 tour. This pickup has a subtle low, which ensures that the lower notes are reproduced very cleanly. There is also a focus on the highs and the combination of these two factors creates a nice, warm sound when playing higher on the neck, where the notes do not become shrill or thin. This PAF Joe neck pickup combines very well with bridge pickups like the PAF Pro, FRED, Air Norton, The Breed and the Norton. Virtual Vintage technology ensures that the bright low end is merged with warm-sounding mids and high frequencies.
