Product information

General

Designed in collaboration with John Petrucci, the DiMarzio DP228 Crunch Lab guitar element works best in the bridge position. This element has a fairly high output and has very open lows and mids. The treble has a lot of depth, giving this pickup a lot of body on amps with a lot of gain, which works especially well when playing chords. The pickup delivers a big and tight sound that is not muddy or thin, and can be installed in either direction.
