General
The DiMarzio DP252 Gravity Storm Neck pickup was designed in collaboration with Steve Vai. The uniqueness of this neck pickup is that it offers a unique combination of a typical fat neck-position tone, but with quite a few harmonic overtones added. The pickup has a unique sound characteristic, where you can expect a warm texture with the typical depth of a humbucker, but also that distinctive single-coil sound. Especially on 24-fret guitars, these characteristics come out exceptionally well.
