General
The DiMarzio DP271F Imperium 6 Neck pickup was designed in collaboration with guitarist and Revocation frontman Dave Davidson. The element has a very smooth, smooth sound, yet is very melodic so there is a bit of contrast between the neck and bridge pickups. This Imperium neck pickup responds very well to harmonics, allowing you to get a very good lead sound out of it, but also very definitely a very nice clean sound. The pickup is only available in F-spaced configuration, so only suitable for guitars with a Floyd Rose or similar tremolo.
