General

The DiMarzio DP284 Notorious Neck single-coil pickup has been specifically designed to complete a Notorious Minibucker bridge and Notorious Middle single-coil dream-team. This model is the result of a collaboration between Tim Henson from Polyphia and DiMarzio, so you know it's been built to support a sound that's not easily categorised. The Alnico V magnet core has been demagnetised to make sure that the full character of the vintage coils is faithfully captured and, when this single-coil is combined with the reverse-magnet and reverse-winding of the Notorious Middle pickup, the hum is cleanly suppressed. This model is perfect if you're looking for the dynamic feel of a vintage single-coil but want more subtle trebles so you can tame the output of a more shrill-sounding guitar.
