General

The DiMarzio DP422 Injector Neck single coil pickups were designed with DiMarzio endorser and guitarist Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big, Racer X). This Injector neck pickup works very well for high-gain solos without getting too thin or muddy. In terms of clean sound, this element is also very well balanced and has about 40% less magnetic pull than standard single coils. The latter is particularly important to allow notes played at high speed to retain definition via pick-attack, and to get a wide dynamic range.
