EMG's best-selling passive humbucker: the H4 from the HZ series. EMG H4 combines the power of the active 81 with the soul of a classic passive humbucker. H4 therefore guarantees a balanced overall sound, with tight bass, pronounced mids and a crunchy high. This is thanks to the over-wound coils and ceramic magnets. With its wide range, responsiveness and harmonics, this high-output humbucker comes into its own in the bridge position of your guitar, but can also surprise in the neck position.
H4: ready to rock
To get started right away with this black-coloured humbucker, it comes with EMG's solderless installation system. Of these, the potentiometers are so-called short shafts with a length of 10 mm. This makes them suitable for ST and T-style guitars, among others, as well as guitars with a relatively thin top (American and Asian double-cuts, Asian single-cuts). Looking for a no-frills pickup for big rock and metal? Then the EMG H4 is your humbucker choice!

Ce micro pourra être utilisé dans les registres Hard-rock et Metal sans problèmes, mais tout dépendra aussi de l'ampli utilisé.(Perso, j'ai un Marshall DSL40 upgradé).
Montage simple et rapide,à noter que les potards sont très réactifs.
