Fender Custom Shop Fat ‘50s

This set takes you back to the fifties, the era in which the Stratocaster gained enormous popularity as the symbol of pop culture. These pickups produce a sound that resembles that of the pickups from the 1950s and are equipped with Alnico 5 magnets that are staggered and hand-bevelled for optimal tone balance. The middle pickup is reverse-wound, with reversed polarity to reduce humming in positions 2 and 4 of the pickup switch. This Fender Custom Shop Fat ‘50s will give your Strat sound fuller bass sounds without shrill mids. Enjoy a rich output and a well-balanced Fender tone.

Je connais ce set pour l'avoir monté sur une strat us standard de 89 d'un ami (terrible !!!). Donc par de surprise !
Destiné à la réalisation d'une plaque complète pour ma strat select de 2012, cela devrait faire des merveilles !....
Excellent set pour qui cherche le bon vieux son Fender Stratocaster....
Et meilleur prix chez Bax-shop! Cool !

J'ai commandé ce kit pour le noël de ma Strat mex :)
Je ne fais pas de scène mais voulais me faire plaisir avec de la qualité et je ne suis pas déçu !

Ces micros équipent les Strat US standard depuis 2012, et l'idée comme leur nom l'indique est d'avoir le son des 50's avec plus de pêche.

Ce kit est très polyvalent, chaque micro possède sa propre personnalité, et les positions intermédiaires sont vraiment jouissives (amateurs de Funk...). Les aigus sont clairs et définis sans être criards.

Comme on peut le voir sur la photo de présentation, les caches fournis sont blancs. Personnellement, j'ai conservé les miens couleur "parchment".

Point à améliorer : les gaines de style vintage tressées étaient imprégnées par endroit de la cire dont sont enduites les bobines, compliquant légèrement le dénudage (mais rien de bien grave).
