Looking for an active humbucker for the bridge position? Then you have a wide choice. However, if you are looking for an active humbucker that also comes into its own in clean passages, the Seymour Duncan Blackouts are a very good option. Of course, this AHB-1N is perfectly suited for high-gain applications. Unlike most active pickups, they do not have an overpowering character. The basic sound of your guitar and subtleties of your playing remain intact. This is the AHB-1N for the neck position. Suitable for both guitars with a fixed bridge and guitars with a tremolo unit. Comes complete with installation hardware, input jack and potentiometers.

Wrote the following about Seymour Duncan AHB-1N Blackouts neck active humbucker black

Ik heb deze in de brugpositie. Erg veel power als nodig. Heb 'm wat lager gezet om evenwicht in output te halen met halselement EMG SA. Geeft mooi gedefinieerd geluid lage volumes, maar kan natuurlijk ook een Bak lawaai leveren! Dan is ie nog steeds mooi om te horen trouwens. Omdat ik zelf graag wat meer boventonen hoor krijgt hij net geen 5 sterren. Verder topkwaliteit met de bekende voordelen van aktieve elementen.
Wordt compleet geleverd met mooie dunne schroefjes. Als je echt niet tegen solderen kan kun je natuurlijk uitwijken naar het fool-proof systeem van EMG (nou ja, een switch moet nog steeds gesoldeerd worden.
