General

Elements with Alnico 2 magnets are known for their warm tone, deep basses and sweet trebles. The Seymour Duncan the APH-1 Alnico II Pro is a humbucker built around this much-loved magnet type. The dual-coil element delivers vintage output with low string pull, making it excellent for music styles like classic rock, blues and jazz. Thanks to its great sustain, the Alnico II Pro is perfect for slide guitar. This APH-1n is the neck version, which is intended for in the neck position of electric guitars. Incidentally, the iconic singlecut guitar that Slash became famous with Guns N' Roses also had a set of Alnico II Pro on board. The 4-wire cable of this Seymour Duncan APH-1 element allows you to address coil-split single-coil sound in addition to double-coil sounds with the correct connection.
