General
This is the Seymour Duncan Black Winter 8-String Humbucker Neck Black (supplied individually). This is a passive high-gain dual-coil neck pickup intended for 8-string electric guitars. This pickup is extra-wound to deliver you tight basses, bright mids and sparkling highs in situations where a lot of distortion or overdrive is needed, such as black metal, death metal and maybe even the heavier rock varieties. The 3 large ceramic magnets ensure majestic guitar sounds and more than enough sustain for colossal riffs and icy leads. To combat feedback, the element has undergone a vacuum wax treatment. The cable's 4 wires also allow you to coil-split the humbucker for a single-coil guitar sound.
