Seymour Duncan's SH-2n Jazz is the perfect solution for guitarists looking for a cleaner and more articulate sound. This neck element treats you to classic humbucker sounds that reach beyond its name. Because besides jazz, the SH-2 also lends itself perfectly to country, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock. Its clear and direct sound is perfect for tight riffs and fast solo parts. And because it sounds very neutral and natural, the SH-2n Jazz is the ideal partner for virtually any bridge element.
Ideal partner
For a broad sound palette, the SH-2n Jazz is often combined with a high-output humbucker in the bridge position, such as the SH-5 Duncan Custom and the SH-4 JB. By the way, the Jazz + JB is Seymour's favourite combination and is therefore offered as the 'Hot Rodded Humbucker' set. The SH-2 Jazz works mainly well with warm-sounding guitars with mahogany bodies and rosewood fingerboards. As its name suggests, it is also excellent for (semi-)hollowbody guitars. This is the Rails Matte Black variant.
